From the largest group of spring graduates to walk across the stage in four years, to planting a “moon” tree at our Fulford Center, to being approved for a new bachelor’s degree in business program, EGSC has had an amazing year so far! As we begin our Fall 2024 semester, it is impossible to contain my enthusiasm for the possibilities that lie ahead – for our students, for our campus, and for our community.
I want to welcome our new and returning students, faculty, and staff to campus and share that YOU are the lifeblood of East Georgia State College! We stand ready as an access institution offering tailored degree pathways to a diverse student population in a peaceful, rural setting, while boasting the lowest tuition and fees in the system. Many of our students are first generation and non-traditional students. We are also one of the few colleges in the University System of Georgia to offer the CHOICE Program for Inclusive Learning, which serves those students who may have intellectual or developmental challenges and provides them with a variety of college experiences and opportunities for growth to prepare them for a successful, enriching life.
